We are working with a team of specialists to start field testing a handicap capable pony cart. Our mutual goal is to field test both rig and ponies from a wheel chair. Our goal is to offer a handicap driver the same option to join horseback riders in the field. After field testing is complete, we will begin training both miniature horses and drivers to work as a team. Once this process is completed, guests will be able to book their handicap capable horse and cart at our home venue or travel with our riding team.
All rigs will be capable of driving by our regular clients or those with physical challenges. We are going to ask trail riding clubs to join us in making horse venues available to the handicap cart driver. Much like a seeing eye working dog, we have an obligation under the Americans With Disabilities Act to welcome everyone in our family along for the ride.
